Photographer’s Note

The sky was on fire, the sand was on fire. I was alone on the beach, lost in the contemplation of this fantastic sunset relecting on a thin layer of water left over the sand at low tide.

des couleurs splendides qui sautent a la g... figure et un tres bon rendu luisant sur le sable, je trouve que l'avant plan si important assombrit un peu ton image, en cropper un peu serait une idee.

Bonjour Vincent, mon presque voisin de ce jour !
Les couleurs de ce couchant en feu sont splendides. Dommage qu'un avant-plan ne vienne pas attirer l'oeil au premier plan. C'est souvent le problème de la photo au grand angle...

Quelle intensité dans les couleurs! les réflexions sur le sable mouillé font un peu penser à des flammes :) C'est une bonne idée que d'avoir inclus la ville et ses lumières qui se reflètent. Bonne profondeur également.

Indeed as your title suggest, more then true to see this red glowing sun at the horizont reflected on the sea and the textured footstep sand contrasting the blue cloudy sky in the late evening with the lightof the houses aside, a marvellous moody scene Vincent

Un coucher de soleil pour le moins insolite.
Ce sable en fau est vraiment magnifique avec ce contraste avec les bleus profonds. le GA permet d'apprécier tout l'espace de cette plage.
C'est très beau!!

The wide shot makes this photo such a powerful composition with all this empty space, this sensation of wideness, of freedom, and in front this wonderful sunset colours.
This is really a good one with all the colours, the light of the wet sand, the view of the town, the clouded sky.
