Photographer’s Note
Named after a novel written by Milan Kundera in 1982 and first published in 1984 in France, The Unbearable Lightness of Being. This novel has an important and barely concealed subtitle The Unbearable Heaviness of Being.
Black and white, yin and yang, young and old, the world is made of pairs of opposites that human beings experiment along their life cycle.
Nothing is permanent, nothing will last forever.

There are good dynamics in this image. The clouds extending across the sky, the girl running and the water waves, all combine nicely to create this beautiful scene. Good colours and details on the picture. The light is excellent. Thanks Vincent.

Salut Vincent

Hi Vincent,
Very nice wide angle view to this beach, with the happy girl running, little waves and immense sky.
This really looks as a genuine summer scene.

This is full of movement - the clouds scudding across the sky, the waves coming in, and the girl splashing through the surf. With the clean bright light it makes for quite an optimistic and uplifting image.
It would have been even better if the girl had been closer, but even so it works well.
Good stuff Vincent.
Cheers.

You've got that amazing sky again and have captured another wonderful moment by the sea. I love the energy you have caught of the girl running out of the sea. That one breaking wave leads us right through the scene.

Salut Vincent,

Hi Vincent,
That sky is just fantastic ... the cloud formation against that deep blue sky is just wonderful. This is an excellent composition ... the running woman and the waves created movement and 'freedom' against an open beautiful scene. Your title is sooo fitting to the overall scene. I cannot find fault here ... this is postcard quality. Brilliant work! tfs

bonjour vincent,

Hi Vincent,
The dynamism of both youth and the ocean waves are captured nicely here. I like the way the yellow object balances the frame. The vivid, interesting sky makes the scene come alive and there is much joie de vivre felt in my heart. The note is apropos.

Yves.

Another stunning sky and wonderful seascape, Vince. The graphic effect is powerful, with the strong curve of the wave connecting with the horizon and the dancing child bursting with energy at just the most dramatic point. regards kevin

Vincent,
Bien vu,
Bonne soirée,
JB.

Hello Vincent
Lovely shot once again & again with the wonderful sky. The contrast between the girl & the woman on the left fits with your note very well. What is she holding & pulling..a kite? Interesting book & also the film..is it a book of philosophy masquerading as a novel, or a novel about the lives of four or five characters with pretensions to be a book of philosophy?
Regards
Angshu

Bonjour Vincent. The girl running out of the water and the clouds seeming to rush across the sky with her give the compoaition a sense of movement, a dynamic spirit. I like the vastness you captured and also your philosophy. Regards. Klaudio.

Vincent, this is another photo I could swear I already critiqued - I guess I am mistaken though.
Great POV here. Everything works. The horizon in the center giving good views of both the water and that great sky. The colors look great. The girl running out of the water along with the excellent title combine to make this a really good photo.
Great work.

Great shot with a good perspective, nice colors and composition, agree with your note "Nothing is permanent, nothing will last forever", we are just passing by during a very short time, yesterday already passed, tomorrow doesn't exist, so it's only today, and today is the present and the present is a gift.
Thank you for your excellent shot and note.
Best regards.
