Photographer's Note

Men Ruz lighthouse (Phare de Men Ruz) is located approximately 3 km west from the center of Perros-Guirec and 300 meters from the beach in Saint-Guirec Ploumanac'h. It acts as the navigation point denoting the entrance to the harbor Ploumanac'h. It was built with red granite cliffs to a height of 15 meters and is visible within 20 km. Controlled fully automatically emits alternating white and red light at intervals of 4 seconds. Lighthouse was founded in 1945 in place of the old lighthouse in 1860 completely destroyed by the Germans during World War II. In building the lighthouse can be reached by a path leading red granite rocks of the Coast, offering a picturesque view of the rocky coastline and the sea.
