This photo begin Tour de France - a trip to the Normandy and Brittany regions of France, which I was held with my husband in June 2011. This beautiful regions, are less popular (perhaps that because we were intrigued), full of charm, offers delicious sea fruits, variable weather, birds singing, the diversity of rocks, contrasts, romance, music and art.
Perros-Guirec is a popular seaside resort, with beaches and opportunities for water and beach sports. It is also known for its pink granite rocks which have been sculpted by the sea into varied shapes and patterns.
For the most beautiful places in Perros-Guirec worth seeing are:
Trestraou beaches, Trestrignel and Pors-Rolland and Saint-Guirec Ploumanac'h
yacht harbor and the Port de Plaisance Ploumanac'h
pedestrian walking trail "Path Customs Officers' (Le Sentier des Douaniers)
Men Ruz lighthouse (Phare de Men Ruz)
Costaéres lock Ploumanac'h (Château de Costaéres)
Waterfowl Reserve Seven Islands Archipelago (L'Archipel des Sept Îles)

Beautiful composition taken fron the best point to enjoy the whole view. I like the light, I found it very warm and form to the photo created from the diagonal line between earth and sea. And the lighthouse of course, standing great in the frame!

A nice POV on this famous Brittany scenery. Your composition is very well balanced, the lighthouse is at the right place and the rocks in the foreground make a diagonal line that guides our look to the lighthouse. You used very well the contrast between the warm light in the foreground and the dark clouds on the horizon line.
Have a nice week,

As I see we still have some strong national representation on TE ;)
I will have to inspect your portfolio - I am back from a longer break.
This photo really caught my eyes - the light level is really interesting, the colors and contrast are also good.
As a supplement - bautiful architecture in colors of the nature!

Hello Monika ,
Wonderful ! One of the most beautiful capture of this famous breton light house , that i've seen for awhile . The contrast of the lit FG and the grey sky and sea is fantastic . A effective diagonal , and the fine view of the "Sept-Iles- in the far .

These pink rocks are amazing, and the lighthouse made of these same rocks. The composition is perfect.. very nice association of a sun ray on the coast and the dark clouds. Congratulations!

this is a lovely composition. the colours are superb, very well saturated and appealing. the sun has created a lovely light in the scene. i love the dark, slightly stormy sky that adds atmopshere to the picture. you have placed the lighthouse very well in the scene.

a striking composition full of such wonderfully contrasting colours and elements. I love the fg detailing and the dramatic sky adds such a beautifully tranquil atmosphere to the scene. Beautiful!
Have a good week - Brian.

The late afternoon light made the granite look even "pinker"! And the dark sky provides great light contrasts.
Beautiful scenery as well!

I really liked the lighting and the ambiance in this photo. The scenery is beautiful and so peaceful. Lovely warm tones and grate contrasting grey tones at the BG. The sunlight helped a lot in producing this pink overtones on the rocks and lighthouse. Very nice. Pleasing and captivating to the eyes.

A place I know well. I visit it regurlarly when I go back to Bretagne. You got a very nice lightning this day with a direct lightning on the lighthouse and a dark sky to get a good contrast.

A well composed and balanced image with saturated colours. Dark clouds gives the scene moody impact.
Best wishes from Turkey,

The light in this photo is beautiful! The contrast between the red granite rocks and the threatening clouds give much character to your work.
