Photographer's Note

From the end of autumn weather was very cloudy and rainy in Brittany, so very few opportunity to go out to take photos ! But the sun is back in Brittany from a few days and it looks like it will last ! So I went out to take photos this week end to have a bowl of salty air and also to test my new camera, a Canon EOS 60D :-)

I took this photo in Pénestin at the very south east end of Morbihan. It was token on the foreshore between Bile point cliffs and Béchet island, an island that can be reached by walking only at low tide. The orange cliffs are very special to Pénestin, I don't know a place in Brittany with so orange cliffs ! Pénestin is known in particular for its wonderful La Mine d'Or beach (Golden Mine beach) that I showed you many times on TE, for example here).

Bonjour Olivier ,
je croyais que c'était un paysage islandais ! Comme on n'a pas d'échelle , on peut tout imaginer . Très belle utilisation du sable modelé par la marée au premier plan . Très belle éclairage de ces roches très colorées .

Hello Olivier,

Très bonne et surtout belle prise.
Le charme commence avec ces sillons du premier plan qui guident notre regard vers la falaise. Bonne profondeur, belle lumière et bonne netteté le tout dans un bon cadrage.

Je ne reconnaissais pas l'Islande -) je vois que tu as acquis le même jouet que moi; j'en suis assez content même si il faut avouer que c'est surtout l'objectif utilisé qui fait la différence.
Belle lumière donnant de belles couleurs à l'image. J'aime ces rides de sable au premier plan. Tu as visiblement mis au point sur elles....un peu au détriment de la netteté des falaises en arrière plan.

Bonjour Olivier,

J'aime bien ces "vagues de sable" au premier plan qui permettent de donner de la profondeur à la photo. Les couleurs sont plaisantes, il est vrai qu'on n'avait pas vu un vrai soleil depuis tant de temps !
J'ai l'impression que ça manque de netteté, en particulier dans le fond à gauche vers les rochers.

Je suis passé par là il y a deux ans mais il y avait un ciel plombé.
Intéressante profondeur d'image par l'avant-plan
J'aurais bien fait un hyper panoramique si j'avais eu un soleil comme çà

oggi, osservando attentamente alcune delle tue fotografie ho avuto modo di apprezzare il tuo modo di fare fotografia.
Per un commento ho scelto questa perchè la nitidezza e l'originalità si accoppiano per fare uno scatto di gran pregio.L'essenza di questa foto è un soggetto originale, una nitidezza eccellente, una composizione fuori dai soliti scheni oltre ad una luce che pennella il paesaggio.
UJna foto incantevole che lascia sensazioni fantastiche.
