Another view from the bowspruit of "Belem", but now a close-up looking downward on the bow wave. As you can see, the safety net is rather confortable, you just have to be carefull to walk either on the bowspruit or on the sides of the net for the first steps. Otherwise, bingo, there is just a gap...But nothing very tricky compared to going aloft.
I also post in workshop an additional view on the starboard side.

Une autre vue prise depuis le beaupré du "Belem", cette fois un gros plan vers la bas en direction de la vague d'étrave. Comme vous pouvez le voir, le filet de sécurité est trés confortable, il faut juste faire attention à marcher soit sur le beaupré, soit sur le coté du filet pour les premiers mètres, sinon, bingo, il y a un trou... Mais rien de trés difficile comparé au fait de monter dans la mâture.
