Photographer's Note

Still the Great Parade of Celtic Nations at the Interceltic Festival of Lorient on the first sunday of august. Here is a picture of a couple of dancers of Boked er Lann circle (which means bunch of gorse in breton). No doubt they enjoy dancing when you look at their smile ! The Boked er Lann circle is from Larmor Plage, a small seaside resort close to Lorient. It was founded in 1974 and is considered as one of the best in Brittany. They wear Lorient area costumes. And since I was born in Lorient, I remember I could see my great grandmothers wearing such headdresses when I was a child about 30 years ago.
