what a nice, clean shot to start 2013 with :)
I find lighthouses always fascinating, mysteriously luring the traveler with their lights and their astonishing locations...
I love the blue tones, they make the image look like a frame from a movie sequence.

Happy New year to you Yves. Both shots of the lighthouse are lovely and each deserving of comment. I've chosen this one to comment on because I love the colour palette and the atmosphere. The churning sea is still evident and the smoothing of the waves has added a romantic feel to the shot which together with the warm light from the lamp is evocative and compelling. The white window frames add a good contrast to the dark walls of the building. Your POV and framing is carefully managed. In total, a fine shot. Warm wishes rosemary
