Photographer’s Note

This neo-Romanesque church is located at the site of a former chapel dating back to 1482, became church in 1588. The builders of this sanctuary are the first lords of Bourne family of English origin settled in this place in early fourteenth century. A tomb of a lord of the family from this period is now in the cloister of the Cathedral of Tréguier.
Saint Evence is a roman saint martyred in 119. The first stone of the new church was blessed on 10 June 1894. The church is engaged in worship in 1895 and features a wooden Christ, which dates from the eighteenth century and comes from the chapel of Liscorno.
Lannebert is a Brittany commune of Côtes d'Armor of about 400 inhabitants.
