Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This is the church of St. Gildas in Laniscat.
The church was built in the 16th century and has had various modifications since then. The north and south aisle and porch are from 1691 whilst the west porch was 1725 to 1751.

The church has four huge round turrets that make up the bell steeple or tower. Inside the church it is cold and dark with an ornately carved altar area. Around the walls are various religious statues and flags.

The church has a clock which, I believe, is more recent.

I wish you all a lovely day, Bev :-)
