Just after the tide has gone, the sunset sets in quick...
The phograph is adjusted with Photoshop, done by Menno Damste, who added the extra dramatic effect of the clouds hanging over the beach as the crabs are looking for shelter...

Oh - I do like your photos - You did a great job here - the combinations of light/shadow in the field realy good - and finally the clouds - excellent background, but not the main motive.

Le relief particulier aux premiers plans et le jeu des ombres qui apparaissent sont du plus bel effet. Le soleil couchant qui apparait entre les toits est un peu surexposé mais l'effet est impressionant.

Couleurs superbes. J'aime beaucoup. J'ai même eu besoin de lire la description pour savoir si c'était de l'eau ou du sable :-)

Love it, the sand looks pure
and the sun just above the house gives a really nice light, and great colors in te clouds !

I had to look very carefully to see things in perspective... I first thought it was snow! Only after reading your note I realised it was a very original way to photograph the beach by sunset. Great low point of view, very well executed...
