Photographer’s Note

One afternoon of summer shone upon on the beach of "Moulin", day of downward tide, favourable with fishing with foot for the greatest pleasure of children and adults. The beacon located on the rock is called "Le Four".

-------------------------

There are several types of fishing to foot:

- the collecting of fixed and visible animals (moulds, winkles...)

- the fishing "with touches", which consists in excavating the interstices and the lower part of the rocks using the fingers or hooks (green crabs, "tourteaux"...)

- fishing using scoop, fouenne... That consists in fishing the animals in water (gray shrimps, "bouquets"...)

- the collecting of animals hidden in sand ("couteaux", hulls...)

Not to destroy fauna, there are minimal sizes of catches to be respected:

- "Étrille" : 5cm (height of the carapace)

- Spider of the sea : 12 cm (height of the carapace)

- "Tourteau" : 5 cm in the smallest length and 14 cm in largest

- gray shrimp : 3 cm (overall length)

- "Bouquet" : no minimal size

- "sole" : 24 cm

For your information I join to you in link an Internet site on the schedules of tide in "Côtes d'Armor"

Good fishing with all.
