Photographer’s Note

A closer view of La Recouvrance after she had been launched. The hull is completed, but the rigging was not installed untill 1993. However, without the rigging, the slim lines of the hull are probably more visible here. Note the gun doors on the side (although the ship is currently carrying no guns or gun replicas), but this is consistent with the original design of a military schooner of the beginning of the 19th century.
A last and (as you will see) slightly different view tomorrow.

Please refer to yesterday posting for a little bit of information about the ship.
