Photographer’s Note
The chaloupe "La Pauline" from Dahouet (a charming little harbour in North Brittany), seen from the cliff of Plouha. Plouha is located on the west side of the Saint Brieuc Bay.
In the background, you can see the other side of the Bay and the Frehel lighthouse at the end.
This picture was taken during the Fete de la Morue (Cod Festival) event in Binic last May.

Hi Sophie, amazing shot! a wonderful long view over the blue sea.
it's a pity that the image lost something about colours and quality in the upper side where there's the sky, but the composition with the boat in the low left corner is perfect.

Magnifique image, très forte avec ce voilier perdu dans l'immensité. Au premier abord, je me suis dit que ton image était très (trop) bruitée, mais en regardant plus longuement, c'est vrai que ça donne un effet vraiment très sympa.

A really amazing minimalistic shot - and How did u manage to find a boat like that?! The compo is excellent. Perfect bottom left corner offset with tiny boat and gigantic ocean. And we can see land too. I mean, this would be a good pic for a movie..etc Good job.

Superbe, c'est le premier mot qui me vient à la bouche en voyant cette étendue bleue, si bleue...
Ce voilier qui a l'air parti dans cette immensité pour une aventure qui l'ammenera on se sait où.
C'est d'une simplicité déconcertante.
Bravo Sophie, une de tes meilleures photos sur la mer à mon avis.

nice picture, I like how blue composes most of the image except for the boat, which really gives focus on it as a main subject in this. I like how you have positioned it in a corner and That the water makes up most of this image, not the sky.

Salut Sophie, le titre choisit va parfaitement bien à cette photo. Avec ta compo très simple et parfaite, tu as réussit à faire ressortir l'immensité de l'océan par rapport à cette chaloupe. Le fond brumeux, est parfait et accentue la sensation d'infini

How insignificant are we if you look at this picture. The little boat so deserted in the big blue sea with some land on the horizon.

A very cinematographic picture here, looks like a final (or, on the contrary, initial) take of a film. Very romantic image, colours are so beautiful, and the movement is captured perfectly! Been to Cap Frehel in 1996, but from the other side, from St.Malo, and didn't go further. The more I see pictures from Brittany, the more I think I have to go there again...

Whoah est un peu un résumé mais cela donne un peu mon impression, pas tres constructif mais ...

On est bien peu de chose dans l'imensité de la Baie.
Bien fait le placement du bateau, est interessant bien prêt du cadre avec l'ouverture sur un espace maximum.

La maison familiale n'étant pas loin de là (St Quay Portrieux), je ne pouvais pas passer à côté de cette magnifique photo.
J'aime particulièrement le cadrage que je trouve tout à fait réussi.
Et ce superbe bleu à l'infini avec sa petite teinte de rouge.
