Photographer’s Note
This panorama is of the fine beach at Bétahon, and was taken a short distance away from yesterday's posting, but looking in the opposite direction.
At the far left is the harbour at Pen-Lan - towards the right are the villages of Bétahon and Cromenach, the coastline then sweeps on round to the town of Damgan.
This area is renowned for the production of shellfish.
At low tide a lot of mud is exposed, but there is some good sand along the high tide line. A favourite place for kite-surfing.
A stitch of six JPEG images using ArcSoft Panorama maker. Final PP in FastStone and PhotoShop 7.
F 5.6 - exposures 1/500 - 1/800

Hi Peter,
Good choice of panoramic view on the beach with interresting harbour and boat in the left and piece of cloud in the right. Nice typical colors.
Good work, well done.

Olivier

Hallo Peter!
What an impressive sight! This photo makes the viewer wishing to step into it ;-) These houses truly have an outstanding situation. Living there must be a dream. This wonderful vivid sky is a lovely addition to the scenery. Hats off to the photographer!
Greetings from rather cold Germany (-2°C)!

Hi Peter,
A beautiful panorama with many interesting details, but wouldn´t this be a good place to go picking mussels or cockles? On the satellite photo I can see some patterns outside the beach. Are those for oystercultivation?
Best regards
Gunnar

Hello, Peter.
Once again, your little Canon impresses us with its incredible sharpness, clarity and colours despite its near-fatal injuries.
This is a very impressive panorama, again with no evidence of any "joins" and with the exposure looking entirely even across the whole frame. I like the way the "concave" curve of the beach and shoreline contrast with the dead-straight horizon. The sky is very impressive indeed- did you use a (presumably hand-held) polariser for this one?
Best Wishes,
John.

Hello Peter,
an excellent panorama, that one wouyld never tell that it is stitched together. I like the curve of beach and pleasant blue of the sky.I can imagine myself walking barefoot along this beach with the sand between my toes. hah bliss! still,we are crawling along towards summer, once this snow is over. (How much snow have you had? I got the day off work, yippee!).

Hello Peter,
I particularly enjoyed looking at the large version. It was like being on a virtual tour.
Excellent sharp exposure which captured so any details with great clarity.
Your clever pp work has stitched the shots without a sign.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
