Sarlat-la-Canéda (Occitan: Sarlat e La Canedat), or simply Sarlat, is a commune in the Dordogne department in Aquitaine in southwestern France. The town is in a region known in France as the Périgord Noir (the Black Périgord), close by are the regions of the Green Périgord, the White Périgord, and the Purple Périgord

Sarlat is one of the most attractive and charming towns in southwestern France, boasting many medieval buildings including a splendid cathedral. Consequently it is a major destination for tourists from all over the world and can get very busy during the season.

Quelle rue étroite quel captage et bonne gestion des lumière, pas facile de capter dans de telles conditions fantastique ces façades et la maison avec la lumière.

Ah I love these narrow characteristic little alley ways. Silvio is famous for them. They capture such a great quality snapshot of the village, its history and its architecture, as this photo certainly does. Excellent play of light and shade, great use of the vertical frame and the perspective. A well-exposed and sharp image, congrats.
