Pujols is a village and commune in South-West France in the department of Giromde (region of Aquitaine). It lies some sixty kilometres (37 miles) due east of the department and regional capital of Bordeaux overlooking the valleys of the Escouach and Dordogne rivers.
In 2011 it had a population of 595, a figure which has gradually shrunk over the years from a peak of 1012 in 1800.
In addition to the church of Saint-Pierre de Pujols, a listed historic building since 1846, it has a number of other attractive buildings that are of interest to the photographer.
The building shown here stands on the main square of the village.

another wonderful architectural shot from this little village that deserves so much more attention. This house if so full of character and beautiful detail. From the façade and the inlay it looks like it had some real significance in the village at some stage. Enjoying this series.
Enjoy your weekend - B.

the combination of architectural styles certainly create another attractive facade with the flower tubs also contributing to the scene.

Ciao e buon fine settimana

A quaint little building, and the arches are very cool. I cannot put my finger on exactly what it is, but there is something strange about the shape of those arches, they look as if they have a tiny element of an ogie arch to them, but only if I look a certain way. This seems to be a beautiful town, full of possibility for the fan of architecture and photography!
Thanks as always for sharing.

although i love modern architecture, this style is rather sweet too.
I'd actually enjoy living in a place like this.
its got charm like nothing else.
oversized window shutters, large arches and i'm sure lots of history to go along with it.
well shot and presented.
