Bedous , from le Bugala, a photo from Aquitaine, West

Photographer's Note

Le Bugala , c'est une petite colline qui domine le village d'Osse-en-Aspe . Au sommet (761 m) , se trouve une table d'orientation , qui offre une vue aérienne sur le Vallon de Bedous , et sur les principaux sommets de la Vallée d'Aspe .
Une jolie balade en boucle au départ d'Osse en fait le tour . Ici , on est dans la descente , avec une vue du village de Bedous au débouché de la vallée d'Aydius . Si les grandes parcelles planes du Vallon sont encore bien entretenues , il n'en est pas de même des prairies en pente , de plus en plus gagnées par la friche , puis la forêt (c'est le cas du versant au dessus de Bedous) .

La puissance des montagnes est bien evidente, il me plait ce collage de vertes differentes, les ombrages qui jouent avec les sommets. Un paysage armonieux.

Hello Denis,
The strong colours and bright light is what makes the greatest impact on me. The view is marvellous and there are so many details to watch in the valley and on the mountainsides. But above all the colours have a fantastic vigour and clarity.
