one of the doors at the northern entrance to Monpazier. As one of bastide towns Monpazier has very regular street grid and an almost perfecly rectangular shape. Its northern border is pretty spectacular as it resembles a wall of houses, with in its center a one large gate and few small passages. Seen from that particular point of view this small door looked like a secret entrance to the city walls, hence the title...
