For this shot, my intention was to capture the look and aligned narrow alleys leading to the pond, showing the diversity of facades, streets and their former side, while keeping as much as possible the pool in sight.
Listed as a scenic spot, the oyster village L'HERBE certainly deserves some attention long. Consists of a series of brightly colored huts, some of which are more than
trees, and a maze of narrow streets leading to the beach, it is an ideal place to stroll for those wishing to explore the atmosphere and architecture of what were once small fishing villages
who ticked along the Bay of Arcachon.
Access to the village can be done either by the waterfront - it is strongly advised to leave your vehicle in the car parks that line the Boulevard de la Plage - either by stairs located at the roundabout
of Bird Island, which overlooks the village and thus offers beautiful views on this truly exceptional.
