Part of the pretty villages in South West France theme".

This is Castelnaud, one of the many castles in the Dordogne Valley, only a few kilometers away from the other pretty village of La Roque Gageac (and there are a few more around the corner).
For sure this place has some interesting history with the English and the French etc... but I don't know it, I guess it's a job for Wikipedia!

Bon cadrage sur le château et le petit village en contrebas..!
Bonne lumière et jolie couleurs, j'aime bien l'effet des nuages blancs sur la partie droite de l'image..!

Hello Nicolas, I have visited the Dordogne but I don't recall seeing this castle.
You have a good POV looking down on the houses and the river.
I like the way that the sun is highlighting the sides of the houses.
