Photographer's Note

After shooting towards the main stretch of the Grande Plage I glanced down from the bridge where I was standing to see this little girl, seemingly all by herself, but having the time of her life playing in the sand & surf. It was quite an innocent type of moment when you remember that life was much simpler as a child. The only thing needed to be entertained was an imagination.

I love it when I’m lucky enough to catch something unexpected like this by simply taking a extra look around at my surroundings before I rush off in search of the next shot. I guess patience really is a virtue!?

Hi jason
I like the idea of minimalism in this shot of the little girl dancing alone on the wide beach
The left side across the diagonal has its sand a bit darker, thus avoiding too much uniformity

Well spotted the moment, Jason, and well placed the girl dancing off-center pic. space.
Clarity is super, especially with the footprints on sand.

Hi Jason,
simple,but very evocative and expressive scene!You spotted excelentlly uniqueness of this scene.
It´s just like wrote Robert-sometimes less is more and this is the case here.
It evokes immediately memories of the summer and holiday.
