Photographer’s Note
This is the view of Grenoble from the pastures near the village of Venon. It is a very picturesque village, just 20 mins away from Grenoble centre-ville. Venon's church on the hills is visible from almost anywhere in Grenoble - that's how I discovered the place. Me and my friend, we climbed all the way up by foot, which took us nearly two hours, but it was fun.
As I was taking the picture, I was standing under the big lone oak tree - I'm pretty sure it's the same tree Alain (alainh) and others featured in so many photographs: here

Très belle vue de Grenoble qui montre malheureusement à quel point l'urbanisation a rempli toute la vallée. Les bâtiments osnt un peu flous mais c'est sûrement à cause des 800 pixels de large.
