Photographer’s Note

End of the serie about the Old Oak in the night, this portrait is made with the help of my friend Vittorio, you can get a glimpse of his shadow, while he handles the flash, in low left side of the oak, I have not cancelled his shadow for having a relationship with the oak and because I like this result.

Dark, gothic and scarry !! That's really impressive. It's cool the tree didn't catch you and let you come back. Impressive shot.

Molto bella anche questa sopratutto per le tonalita' di colore del cielo e della quercia , dovro' chiedere a Vittorio di venire ogni tanto anche a ginevra .......

Hi Vinicio,
This version shows best how great looking that oak really is. Difference between colour balance of street lights reflecting from sky and flash makes this look special. It is like a painting and would look better with a frame.

Drammatico fine di settimana, Vinicio! La foto è affascinante ma cupa, spero che non corrisponda ad un cattivo umore!
Certamente è un tuo nuovo tipo di virtuosismo!
E poi questo Vittorio: io lo cerco, ma ..neanche l'ombra! Almeno io non son capace di trovarlo. Mi sembra un questo della settimana enigmistica!

THis old tree has made a lot of adepts on TE and I can see you are now one of them. If has to be said that the atmosphere on your picture has something surnatural and the result is really great.

What a mysterious view! The tree becomes something quite different, something supernatural... the contrast to the sky's colour makes this picture even more interesting. A very good experiment! Thank you for showing - and a nice weekend!

This is magical again. The idea is very creative and the result is quite special! I can imagine that Drakula was there or some other vampire... (OK forgive me, I've seen the Blade III. movie last week...)
