Photographer’s Note
Normally during the day this point of view is not much interesting in comparison to the others of which you can see the photos, but at the dusk and then in the night the light of Grenoble create this beautiful effect to make to seem that under the old oak there is a magma river.
Because the wind some branch of the tree is blurred.

Hi Vinicio,
Excellent timing with all the lights already switched on and plenty of ambient light still around. The city seems to cover the whole valley.
There's also plenty of details visible on that big tree, and I like the effect of wind.

Ciao Vinicio,

Best regards.
Daniel.

Hi Vinicio,
Great time to capture this nightshot. Did you use a fill flash on the tree? TFS!

Hallo Vinicio!
An incredible beautiful photo with a very original title! I would say, this is an artwork - not only a photo. You managed the difficult light conditions in an astonishing way and the "evening colours" are wonderful. This is a great one!
Greetings from rainy and stormy Germany!

Ciao Stefano.
Salutami i tecnici delle luci Vittorio/Sbrizio .

Hello Vinicio,
So you went there, to the famous tree which is becoming so famous on TE. I think it was first discovered by Alain (alainh) and then visited quite a lot.
Your view is original and the time of the day makes the difference. You waited for the city underneath to send a kind of magic with all these lights turned on.
Beautiful and impressive shot of such a famous place !
Best regards. Christian
