Photographer’s Note
This image joins with the two main elements of many beautiful photos that we see from our friends residents in the land of Grenoble, the branches of the old oak and the Tooth of Crolles (La Dent de Crolles) that Jean Luc Augier (jluca) has photographed much well, he has also discovered this nice tree and its beautiful POV. The valley goes towards north and in favorable conditions we can see also the White Mount.
Thanks to all.

Ciao Vinicio,
He,he,he, battuta del cavolo!
Ciao e buona serata!

Ciao Vinicio!
Nicely framed between tree branch and grass, this lovely view over Grenoble is awesome. The majestic mountain seems so powerful over these houses from your point of view and good use of a very wide angle. The clouds’ shadows over the mountains is a nice detail and create a beautiful light all over the city. Polarizer allowed your colours to pop-up and minimize the fog effect.
Very well composed!
André

Greetings Vinicio.
Well seen and perfect use of the tree and the grasses to frame the mountains. I like the POV because of the descending line of the mountains and the ascending line of the grass...these lead your eyes further into the photo. Beautiful sky also.

Chris

Vinicio,

Hi Vinicio,
I wish I could have seen that picture years before...
When as teenagers we were looking at that oak, so lonely, so noticeable on its hill, we didn't know it was famous, Le Vieux Chêne de Venon!
And we kept on saying we should find how to reach it. And never did. I can't believe how lazy we were when talking together!
Memories, that's what fills a place with passion, thanks for that unique view from underneath our fantasy!
