Photographer’s Note
Above Theizé, on the way carrying to Oingt, one discovers a very beautiful sight on the castle of Rochebonne and by clear weather, beyond the vineyard of the Beaujolais, to Mont Blanc.
The castle was destroyed in 1363, rebuilt in the XVth century, then increased and altered in the XVIIth century by the family of Châteauneuf de Rochebonne.
It is a splendid building made out of "golden stones".
The poor sun of this 10th of December did not emphasize all its light, but I think that this sepia treatment gives charm to it.

You're right, Cedric, the sepia works very well here, emphasizing the timelessness of the scene--nothing reveals that it's the 21st century. Nice framing, too--we don't need to see the sky for this image. Regards, Ken.

Bonjour.
