Monastere de la grande Chartreuse Photo

Photographer’s Note

Photo taken at the end of the ski touring around Gd Som summit.
It it the monastery of Charteuse, it is still used by monk who made a silence vow.
Even if now we can reach easily this place, this place stays very wild and in winter the sun can not be seen a long time in this narrow valley.
This photo is not so good, the frame is too close (to avoid big reflections of the sun in the lens), but I would like to show this monastery under the snow. I will try to do better this winter.

alors rendez-vous est pris pour ramener ce lieu celebere sous une bonne lumiere et une belle couche de neige !!
j'espere que le manteau blanc sera plus epais que l'hiver dernier.
