Photographer’s Note

Toute la famille a l'affut du chamois (ou du cochon) au Charmant Som....Devant, Livia 3 ans, un peu casse cou. Derriere Hadrien 7 ans, qui reve... et le papa qui essaye de controler les troupes... en silence ... pour ne pas faire peur au chamois.... mais on en a vu , si , si !!!!

C'est joliment fait ça... Voila de belles ombres chinoises en famille et mon regret le plus fort c'est qu'il n'y ait pas au pas de course derrière un des culs roses que vous veniez de croiser... En tout cas félicitations pour cette composition à la limite du noir et blanc qui fonctionne à merveille...

very interesting lines throughout the hill and sky creating fluid movement to counterbalance the family.

I think its compositionally perfect and you caught that family in the perfect pose. i've nothing negative to say.

A clever shot, Geraldine. I like the fact they're not just walking up the hill, they're going like a family would--kids crawling, or being dragged. And the exposure is just right, so the hill not a total silhouette, we can see the snow. The horizon (or at least, the clouds parallel to it) is slightly crooked, and I'm not so sure about that thick inner black frame, but the overall effect is great. Regards, Ken.

Bonsoir Géraldine,

Je ne crois pas connaître ton travail en tout cas, plusieurs photos ont attiré mon intérêt... Celle-ci est plaisante par sa simplicité, le presque N&B, les forts contrastes où les silhouettes se détachent joliment. Et le cadrage est bien vu !
