Photographer’s Note

Photo taken from the summit of the Grand Som (just above 2000m) in the Chartreuse range. As you can see, it was a little cloudy.
The mountain on the top right is Chamechaude the highest summit of the range at 2082m.
Photo taken in raw format to extract the highest dynamic and prevent to get too much area of pur white in the clouds.

belle photo de cette montagne sous un ciel plutôt menaçant et d'une belle couleur avec ces nuages qui montent de la vallée
j'aime beaucoup ce paysage comme celà, et l'imaginer aussi avec le soleil et ciel bleu

Bonjour Yves.
Excellent image du sommet du Grand Som par temps couvert, comme c'est souvent le cas en Chartreuse.L'utilisation du formar raw, est c'est vrai trés efficace pour pouvoir faire apparaîte tous les dégradés du ciel.

You certainly go to some very exciting looking places. Thankfully you also do a super job of capturing images of them to share with us. Great color and detail are great but the distance view is awesome.

Belle vue sous un superbe ciel menaçant.
J'aime bien la différence de lumière entre le premier plan et le reste de la vue.
