Taken from a stop along the road from Geneva, Sw. to Chamonix, Fr., crosses the southern edge of the Passy National nature reserve, and looking on the Mont-Blanc Massif from a distance.
The highest of the Mt.-Blanc peak is at 4810+/m altitude, and seen here with a view due S.East.
A 16:9 aspect ratio, zoom extract and a bit enhanced saturation.

Hello Ike,

We get almost a three part picture, in foreground a little bit dark through the forests.
Middle the mountains with snow tops, to the sky light grey clouds and a splendid blue sky.
Good depth and perspective.
Sharpness and clarity are excellent taken.

The distance between the field and the mountains is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the mountains. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Fantastic scene Ike, I love this viewpoint! You've taken and created a splendid composition from the valley floor all the way up to the mountain peaks. The compressed layering of each element really makes for a subtle but neat visual, and the cloud formation adds even more interest to the photo. Good clarity, the exposure has made for some nice, strong colors. I'm quite drawn to the depth of each layer as well as the overall atmosphere of a bright and warm summers day. Well executed!

Hi Ike,
You have done well to produce such a lovely shot in pretty good light conditions. You have successfully used the green hills foreground interest and placed the white mountains to the BG. I also like the white clouds with blue sky above. All in all an excellent mountains landscape photo.

Hello Ike,

The picture has nice layers and that emphasize
the depth. The good composition and the cut
makes the picture nice wide.
One little advice: the fence has no function,
try to avoid this.

Very nice photo of Mont Blanc taken from this side. I think you have one of the best views of this majestic mountain from the upper parts of Geneva. Your composition is really great with agricultural landscape in the foreground, the wood covered mountainsides in the middle and the snowcovered mountains in the background. Wonderful and spectacular scenery, with a sensational POV provides nice contrast between the green of the lush vegetation of the mountains we see in the foreground with the background of the magnificent mountains, where snow dominates everything, the clouds on their tops is perfect bonus to the composition.

Hello Ike,

You're capturing well this place by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the green mountain layers in foreground and beautiful Mt-Blanc like a lady with snow. It's impressive in the village in foot, too. And, the blue sky with thick cloud's belt draws out a good impact in this image. It is the good photograph in which the atmosphere of the early summer in this place is shown.

first time I visited this region I thought 4810 meters was a very high peak, but when I arrived by car in a place 5300 meters altitude in Bolivia I discovered how small it is. haha.
nice view of the green valley with the peaks covered with clouds and ice.
