Je vous ai déjà illustré La Plaine Africaine, du Parc de la Tête d'Or, à Lyon.
Il s'agit d'un espace regroupant 130 espèces d'animaux en semi-liberté sur 2,5 hectares.
C'est le plus grand zoo gratuit d'Europe.
Après les Zèbres et le Flamant, voici ici un autre des habitants de l'endroit, le Pélican Blanc.
Pouvant atteindre 3 mètres d'envergure, le Pélican Blanc se nourrit exclusivement de poissons qu'il pêche en utilisant la poche de son bec comme une épuisette.

I already illustrated you Parc de la Tête d'Or African Plain, located in Lyon.
It gathers 130 animal species in semi-freedom on 2,5 hectares.
It is european largest free zoo.
After Zebras and Flamingo, here another of this place inhabitants, White Pelican.
This bird can reach 3 meters scale, and it eats fish exclusively, catching it by using its nozzle pocket like a scoop.

I guess you used your big lens up to the 300mm to get this wonderful close-up. The texture of the feathers are magnificent. Part of the success is the perfect light condition that you got here. Perfect blurred background to enhance the overall impression of the pelican.

Et bien celle-ci dans son genre est vraiment tres belle... Je me souviens que xavshot, il me semble, s'était essayé au portrait pélican mais je préfere celui-ci... La netteté est parfaite et les teintes sont douces et vraiment agréables... Votre personnage a su prendre magistralement la pause et c'est tant mieux... Félicitations...

This is a fabulous image of this Pelican. The colours and quality of the image are superb. It posed nicely for you. It is so totally different from the Pelican's here in Australia. Ours have a pink beak.

Je vois que nous n'avions pas eu besoin d'aller aussi loins que Peaugres il y a peu pour voir des animaux africains. Lyon aurait suffit.
La lumière sur ses plumes est splendide et j'aime bien comment il se tourne la tête et bec. Le fond sombre et floue contraste bien.

c''est une journée dans laquelle j'aurai fait beaucoup dand les oiseaux.
Un très beau spécimen bien coloré que tu as pris dans des lumières bien calibrées, un cadrage difficile mais que tu as négocié au mieux.

Oui, je me souviens bien des photos mentionnées dans ta note et celle ci est vraiment top ! J'aime beaucoup l'éclairage, la texture des plumes et du long bec jaune, la pose, les couleurs et pour terminer le bokeh qui donne plus d'impact à ce drôle d'oiseau :)

Un fond sombre fort appréciable pour mettre en valeur ce superbe pélican. J'aime beaucoup les qualités de la photo et notamment la netteté de l'image. Les couleurs sont originales et donne un effet peinture à cette photo animalière. Joli travail, bravo JB.

Il est splendide ton pélican - Heureusement que le pélican blanc n'est ps blanc - il nous offre ainsi de superbes couleurs qui se détachent sur ce fond noir - Ce profil contourné est des plus esthétique. Belle lumière qui met sa poche jaune en valeur - bravo -

JB, je trouve cette photo superbe. Très graphique, sous une lumière superbe, ce pélican a des couleurs extraordinaires. Le rendu du bec et du plumage est au top.
