Photographer’s Note

A slow morning stroll in the rising heat, the occasion for some shooting...the facades along the docks of the Saône river and the Fourvière hill in the background, a view from the opposite docks... The view opens on the left with the church of Saint-Georges, also name of the area and closes on the right with the Basilica of Fourvière.

Sitôt prise, sitôt publiée, ça c'est du rendement ;o)
Une bien jolie vue, sous une lumière évidemment divine.
Les reflets sont magnifiques... Quel bonheur les façades colorées quand même !
L'image est parfaitement équilibrée, avec un crop du ciel très bien pensé.
Pour chipoter, il manque juste un petit coup de tampon sur la grue (?) derrière l'arbre. C'est con, mais je ne vois que ça !
Très belle qualité, et une expo idéale en tout cas.

I much prefer this to the WS with the quayside in the foreground as I want to have an uninterrupted view of the stunning reflections. The light and colours are perfect and there is so much detail in the cityscape to enjoy. These reflections could be an occasion for you to swap your WA for a zoom and investigate some abstract patterns! :D

The morning light is really beautiful here, great clarity, beautiful reflection in the water. Good placement of the church tower for a nice ballance composition. personally I would like a little more sky so the river and land is not devided right in the middle.

Brilliant reflections, almost abstract! In fact I see this as two pictures rather than one, one the real, other the reflection. I only wished the spire was not chopped off in the reflection. You can try & do a crop of the reflection & then inverse it...I'm sure it'll look great! And the sky is so blue? Sure no polariser? Fine work!

I have never been to Lyon, I really want to go there as it looks to be a great city. I love this pic, nice colours and reflections.
