Photographer’s Note
A close-up on two famous buildings of the 'Part-Dieu' area in Lyon : the one on the left is the 'Music' part. It is called the Maurice Ravel Auditorium and its scallop-shell shaped is very recognizable (though I know you cannot really realize this here). The one on the right - the business part - is one of Lyon's famous landmark, the 'Part-Dieu' tower, nicknamed 'Le Crayon' in French ('The Pencil'). It harbors a hotel and various offices. It rises up to 541 feet above the Part-Dieu area.

Hello Philippe,

Philippe,
Appearing almost like two cogs of some vast machinery - like music and business perhaps, it seems that they will not quite fit together in harmony!
My regards

hi Philippe,
would you be surprised if I said this is my type of city/architecture photography? :) I like a lot the abstract shapes and strong graphics, with the blue sky and clouds forming the perfect backdrop. excellent clairy, I find it is essential for this kind of shot. nice one :)
best,
Kristine

Bonjour Philippe,
Excellent architecture shot with great natural colours and fine composition of curves and contrasts. Good picture! What I like most here, is the texture of the building on the left.

Bonjour Philippe,

Karine

Hello Philippe
nice composition: two different shapes, different styles on the opposite sides of the frame. Well saturated colors, I like it.
Have a nice day,
Rikk

Bonjour Philippe.

Bonjour Philippe
Two different styles portrayed here, composed harmoniously. The graphoc effect comes out very stronly & that bit of sky separating the two buildings add to the beauty. Well done!
