Photographer’s Note

A view of the peninsula of the banks of the Rhône with in order of appearance from left to right:

- The bell tower of the place Antonin Poncet, the last vestige of the old Charity Hospital, at the time the second largest hospital in Lyon behind the Hôtel Dieu hospital.

- the Fouvière Basilica

- the great wheel on the Bellecour Square

- The giant bouquet of flowers, the work of Korean Choi Jeong-Hwa, entitled "Flower Tree."

- The Fourvière Hill metal tower , located just steps from the basilica of the same name. In 1953 it became a relay antenna for television.

Bonjour,

Tu as reussi à incorporer dans ton image plusieurs symboles de Lyon. Le long temps de pause donne un beau lissage au Rhône. Très bonne ambiance avec ces points de lumière.

Une grande composition avec cette roue transparente, le rappel avec cette boule de fleurs multicolores et les monuments illuminés. Les couleurs sont merveilleusement douces et j'admire la maîtrise de la lumière.

hi Philippe,
that giant bbouquet is what intriqued me most, thanks for the information about it. but the rest of the photo is equally impressive, I particularly like the motion blurr in the great wheel, together with the golden lights and beautiful steel gray/blue sky the result is magic. excellent work, I like it a lot.

Hi Philippe,
This beautiful shot shows that you are keeping capturing marvelous scenes under "blue hour" light conditions. The inclusion of the yellow wheel creates a dreamy somwhat surrealistic atmosphere. I like this one for the great architecture and unbelievable quality. Congratulations!
