I always like snow covered trees with the branches being heavily weighed down. I like the vertical framing which relates to the trees. The tracks in the snow give life even if we can't see who made them. Very sharp despite being in a cable car.

Hi David,
You had me looking feverishly in this scene for your snowy dog...A pleasant snowy landscape rendered with superb lighting and shadow effects. The blanket of snow cloaking the trees is alluring and I especially like the marks in the snow from the skiis. Good use of the vertical format. A fine capture.

Must have missed this one when you first posted it. Very nice composition with the snow laden conifers clinging to the steep slope and the big triangle of blue sky. Love the ski tracks through the powder. Very well exposed and good and sharp - particularly as taken from a moving cable car.

I like this one Dave; the snow seems to have a translucency. The treetops on a diagonal are a good compositional device and they look so pretty covered in snow.
