Sainte chapelle, a photo from Rhone Alpes, South

Photographer's Note

This chapel was built in homage to a person who survived a fall more than 100 meters (from the Roman way which passes nearby) in the 16th century (I am not certain of the date).

It is just located below the falling point.
100 meters higher, a cross and a inscription are engraved in the rock from which she fell.

I thought again about this photo by looking at the one from Amaryllis who has a different version of this chapel 's history

good the view as the presentation of the almost hidden stone made rural chapel from the surrounded bushes and the trees.I like the good light and the colour management.

Bonsoir Olivier,

Je n'aurais pas forcément reconnu là une chapelle, mais l'édifice est intéressant, noyé dans la verdure, avec un toit où la mousse et même les sapins ont pris leurs aises... Excellente note pour accompagner ton cliché, c'est incroyable que l'on puisse survivre à une chute de 100 mètres !

Bonsoir Olivier,
J'aime bien cette petite chapelle qui se fond dans la végétation tout en sauvant encore la face. On la croirait tout droit sortie d'un conte de fées. La lumière donne un bel éclairage à ses pierres grises et roses qui illuminent l'image. Un bel exemple d'intégration intelligente entre l'homme et la nature.

nella fede e nella fotografia, una piccolissima chiesa ha lo stesso valore di una cattedrale, non è importante quanto sia il valore degli arredi, ma è più importante la sensazione che abbiamo nel vederla.
Questa foto ci mostra qualcosa di straordinario, una minuscola costruzione che ha un valore enorme.
