Hi Thierry. I can't believe this shot isn't up to more points. The DOF here just blows me away. The way you have drawn our eye to the man in the middle is truly impressive. Very nice one Thierry!!

Salut Thierry,

Superbe portait, alors je trouve cela tres difficille la prise portrait. moi aussi j'utilise le 70-300 et j'aimerais bien pouvoir faire ce genre portrait au grand angle, un peu a la façon de Claude. Mais c'est tres dur de prendre des photos des gens, comment les abordés etc...tres delicat.

Un portrait volé est toujours naturel, ici ce grand-père est extra, un peu recroquevillé sur lui-même en train d'écouter comme il peut via son appareil auditif et en plus il a un super costume.

Que demandez de plus? ;)

Very good portrait of the older man from Hauteluce. Excellent dept of the field, very good details and super colors.Probably he knew that you are taking photo, and he was smiling. Very beautiful shot.! Thanks for posting
