Photographer’s Note

hi !

a new picture taken a couple of days ago in the centre of Chambéry, one of the biggest town of french Alps ... This is the Curial Center, place of culture of Chambéry.

... the panorama has been built from around 40 pictures taken with a Nikon D200 and stiched with the awesome Autopano Pro software.

Each image has been taken with 50mm lens at f11, 4s of exposure and 100iso for the sensibility ...

J'ai habité Chambery dans ma jeunesse, mais ce lieu est encore plus récent. Très belle image avec cette gestion magistrale de la lumière et ce beau et large angle de prise.

Well done!! 40 images? That is one heck of a lot of images to process. The results are stunning - excellent! I think you should approach the city and try to sell the image.

Antoine,
Nice night photo with good color and lighting. Your composition is very good showing the main subject and the roads leading away on each side.
The curve in the foreground with the balls leads the eye back and forth across the photo.

Beautiful panoramic evening shot. Very good exposure. Unbelievable that you used 40 photo's for this single panorama. I really like the composition with the roads and guiing materials as well as the two buildings.

Je viens effectivement de me procurer Autopano.
Je constate une bonne maitrise de l'exposition à l'heure bleue.
40 images ! Ah je vois que mon record des 60 effectué avec Autostitch va bientôt être battu.

Très belle réalisation technique et artistique très bien composée avec une bonne profondeur. Les deux bâtiments sont bien mis en valeur tant par l'aclairage que par l'angle de prise de vue.

Belle maitrise technique pour réaliser ce très bon panorama. Tu as bien géré l'exposition de tes 40 vues (ça fait qauand même beaucoup....) et l'ensemble est très homogène au niveau lumière. Celà doit donner une sacrée photo en taille non réduite!

J'aime beaucoup les teintes et couleurs que tu as trouvé dans cette vue nocturne.
Très bonne netteté aussi de ces bâtiments.
