Summit of Dome de Chasseforet Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the summit of the Dome de Chassefforet, it is 3,568m, or about 11,750feet or about 2.2miles high. The day was perfect. Like a lot of landscape pictures taken with small cameras, this some how does not do the subject justice. The cornice was big enough to get a bus under. Not sure about the location offered in the drop down menu, it is in the Vanoise National Park.

A nice contrast of blue and white, Robert, but the snow reflected too much light. Why were you usingn an underwater camera on the mountain top?? ;^)

I'd like to see this place sometime.
