Lac de Crop Photo | TrekEarth

Photographer’s Note

Photo taken in the Belledonnes range last Saturday during a hiking in this range which have a high number of lake.
This one is called Crop lake, it is at roughly 2000m and the view is from a pass at 2400m.
The lake is very visited but not the pass where we were very few. It is true the walk is done on the stones and is a little more difficult than to only reach the lake.

Hello,

C'est quand même beau u nlac alpin, ce bleu au milieu de la caillasse de des prés vert, le cadrage présente avec cette profondeur et mangifique, cette vue en V est très belle.

A natural blue eye in the middle of this wild scenery. Excellent composition with the tarn being a strong focal point in the image. The terrain is steep and camping in this area seem like a beautiful experience. Nice work Yves.

Once again you get my respect for making such a trek and lugging your camera and having enough presence of mind at the pass to take the shot. And a good one at that, great focus and color and the angle you chose certainly shows the ruggedness of the terrain. Great capture.

salut Yves !
il y a un paquet de temps que je ne suis pas monté dans le coin !!
je ne suis d'ailleur pas allé voir au dessus du lac, pour l'avoir fait en été dans des conditions quasi hivernales !!!
Belledonne est decidement un massif à decouvrir !
une belle image avec ces banc de stratus s'accrochant à la pente.
aujourd'hui mer de nuages à 1600 m !!!!!
