Photographer’s Note

They walk hand in hand anywhere they go.
They prefer walking in the sunset light and in the most romantic places, like along the beach, up a hill or in acient narrow streets of old town like here...anywhere where time has stopped, and where eternity has decided to settle. No place in that world seems empty to lovers. They often see more things than normal people, little details make the big and rich picture. They can seem unpredictable or irrational but in fact it's just that they have a different way to approach the world that surrounds them.

When they look for a restaurant they never fight to chose one in regards of the different menus...because what they're gonna eat has little importance towards the pleasure to be together. They'll chose the most cosy restaurant with the most pleasent atmosphere, usually with low light because lovers open wide their pupils to get the most attention to their beloved one (it's scientifically proven).
Lovers smile, laugh loud, don't pay attention to what people might think of them. Therefore they often look silly. The most silly they look, the more in love they are, and the most touching too.
As the Beatles said "Love is all!!"

As you might have understood this is a street of the old town of Annecy, full of restaurants and tourists in august. Very lively and really lovely. Many ancient mansions, lovely church, castel, and narrow pavements / streets crossed by canal. Worth a visit!

Très joli background, couleurs magnifiques de la ville et du couchant, j'aime particulièrement le rose du ciel qui donne l'atmosphère Barbieland (mais où est donc Petit Poney?).
Peut être aurait-ce été complet avec un couple mangeant de la Barbapapa... :) ...

Non, sans rire, le seul défaut c'est d'avoir un couple qui part (on sent le pâté ou quoi?), alors qu'il aurait été plus sympa s'il revenait (comme les cons selon la définition de Desproges).

Hi Prisley,
Been a long time since i was in Annecy, but it seems even more touristic after all these years. Despite of that you bring up a nice moody picture with the availible light which enhance that feeling even more. The couple in front bring a romantic touch inside which goes very well with your note.
On the technical side the exposure is spot on, i even like that gradient sky with high shifting to bright white in the far background...a small but for me a major thing in this image...well done.

the tones here set the mood beautifully especially with this pinkish sky that fits your note. It feels like an invitation to stroll along the streets of Annecy. Exposure is top-notch. Well done, send in the violins!

your photo, your note, all together is a perfect package. What I like about it most that is so sincere, natural...not overdone like many seen here on TE. The ambient is warm, the scene full of life and tenderness, the light romantic but still so real, so adorable. All togehter so lovely and pure. Simply beautiful.
