I knew Provence was famous for its lavanda fields from late june to early july but I didn't know that few weeks earlier, one could enjoy fields of poppies.
We met dozens of such large fields creating incredible patterns in a landscape quite familiar to me. Those large touches of red colors are really a marvel from nature.

Calrity and colours and the two main attraction of this shot..!! with a red bg u still managed to getr the red flowers crystal clear..very beautiful..the blurred bg is giving a 3d sffect to this shot..!!!

you have demonstrated how striking a picture can be by using a very simple principle - keep it simple! the red colors and the super sharp foreground image is fantastic. thanks a lot for sharing!

Nice shot, I've been wondering why my poppies haven't passed on TE

Bonjour Steven. Dramatic colours and use of light. The crisp, fresh look of the flowers in the foreground goes nicely against the blurred background. One gets the impression that the fields of poppies go on forever. Lovely image. Regards. Klaudio.

Great DoF and fantastic light!! I see a couple little flare spots. Because they are so small I'd be tempted to remove them as they aren't a feature as such.
I'd honestly love this shot framed on my wall.

Bella composición con esas amapolas a contraluz y el fondo difuminado.
Excelente luz y color.

Very poetic scene. The out of focus red gives this image a great impact and capturing the poppies with the sun in front of your lens has given this photo a very special appeal. Light is indeed what makes photography and here you mastered the available light in a very creative and effective way. Like it a lot.

This is a beautiful photo, with that back-iluminated red poppies. The shallow depth of field creats a very special mood...
I like it a lot.
