GR52, a photo from Provence-Alpes-Cote-dAzur, South

Photographer's Note

The GR52 goes through the Parc National du Mercantour between St. Dalmas de Valdeblore and Menton. This stage runs from La Madone the Fenestre to the Gordolasque valley, +/-40km above Nice and the Mediterrean Sea. This picture is taken just over the top of the Pas du Mont Colomb at an altitude of 2548m and shows the upper part of the Vallée de Gordolasque

Heelo Rudi ,
Seeing the thumbnail , I thought that it was a canarian landscape ! May be the feeling of aridity ...
This is here a beautiful view of the wild moutains with some touches of greenery in the granitic scenery , and a splendid cloudy sky .

Hello Rudi, in this picture the mountains are as interesting as the clouds. Lovely contrast between these tow layers of colors. Nice POV and depth.
