The sun misses me! I founf this spring sunny postcard in my hard disk.
The Port of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is the heart of the village. The Old harbor, current Quay Lindbergh, was built by the convicts of the penal colony of Villefranche between 1840 and 1876. In 1972, the new Marina is inaugurated. He can henceforth welcome more than 500 boats. We find numerous restaurants and businesses along quays there.

Le soleil me manque! Je suis donc allé rechercher cette carte postale ensoleillée printanière dans mon disque dur.
Le Port de Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat est le cœur du village. Le Vieux Port, actuel Quai Lindbergh, a été construit par les forçats pensionnaires du bagne de Villefranche entre 1840 et 1876. En 1972, le nouveau Port de Plaisance est inauguré. Il peut désormais accueillir plus de 500 bateaux. On y trouve de nombreux restaurants et commerces le long des quais.

Allez, courage, le printemps revient.
Effectivement après l'hivers un peu rude par ici, ça fait du bien de voir cette vue lumineuse qui, sans montrer le soleil, l'évoque bien.

Hi JJ, who doesn't want sun? Beautiful memories from the sunny day on the coast. It was made in march, so soon spring comes to us. Lovely landscape, nice boat and lighthouse. Superb colours.

Hi JJ

A well composed image using the rule of thirds for sea, terrain and sky. Good sharpness allowing us to make out the Roman aqueduct style of bridge top left. Nice warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sea and yellow trimmed yachts. The red tipped lighthouse makes a superb focal point. Tfs!

I echo your sentiments here! This winter seems to be endless this year and we are predicted to have snow again next week. This shot cheered me up though. An idyllic scene and captured magnificently.

Il me manque aussi, quoique les météorologistes annoncent que nous aurons presque chaud ce weekend avec un gros 4c pour faire fondre la neige dans notre entrée de cour. J'aime cette photo bien construite et avec de belles couleurs estivales.

Bonjour Jean-Jacques,

Belle vue, bien équilibrée, d'un côté, par le phare et, de l'autre, par ce qui me semble être un pointu. Le viaduc que l'on aperçoit à l'arrière-plan laisse augurer d'un beau trajet à réaliser en train, avec de jolies vues sur la côte.

Hello Jean Jacques - Living at opposite ends of the earth you look for sun and I look for cooler weather and rain. You wait for Spring and I wait for Autumn. The shot here looks like perfectly pleasant weather, not too hot but clear and sunny. The light is catching the boats and light house nicely giving some bright colours and contrast to the scene. tu n'est pas le seul à attendre le soleil avec impatience car cet hiver semble particulièrement long à supporter.
Les couleurs chaudes de la Côte d'Azur sont vraiment les seules à nous réchauffer.

Sneeuw is toch ook mooi?
Foto heeft een mooie opbouw en mooie lagen
waardoor een mooie diepte is ontstaan en
dat komt de foto mooi rustig over. De
belichting ziet er idem mooi en verzorgd
uit.
