Photographer's Note

Living in the north where winters can be hard and long and gray, travelling south is always a pleasure. Almost every year during the Easter break we are one of those cars heading down the 'autoroute du soleil'. A day's drive south to catch the blue sky and feel the sun.

Puyloubier-Sainte-Victoire is a small town at the foot of the impressive Mont Sainte-Victoire, at the heart of the Provence. We passed through on the trail of Cézanne and enjoyed a couple of drinks on the outdoor terrace of the town bar. Quality time!
