Not really of course, I’m sure its owner would have been quick to claim the contrary! It did appear odd though that it was left seemingly unattended, but no one the beach that day gave it a second thought.

With the Mediterranean Sea giving off such amazing color at this point in the day, I could almost have set and watched the waves for hours on end. Fun in the sun along La Côte d’Azur!

I’ve provided a Workshop version that includes the horizon, which I like because of the “extra” colored layer that it presented…however, I believe this cropped format has a slightly stronger composition.

I agree with your thoughts about the cropped version having the stronger composition. I like the breaking wave that provides the foreground interest. I also like the two different shades of blue in the sea. The change in colour is quite dramatic so presumably there is a deep trough under the sea.

It's orange color is in great contrast to the fabulous light-blue sea, jason.
Nicely spotted, and simply presented.
"No parking" sign not seen on the vicinity...

Beautiful view of the boat and the blue water. The blue sea of the place is impressive as the light and the colours. Lonely boat contrasts with the sea.

A fine capture of this little boat taht seems to be without owner . But also an excellent composition with splendid colors , and the beautiful inclusion of the wave in the FG .
The version without sky is better , IMO .

Hello Jason,

I like this kind of "less is more" pictures.
The composition is now extra importent and
that did you very good: picture is nice
calmness, as viewer you can hear the sea.
The layers (this time mostly the colors
in the picture) and the vertical position
creates a nice depth... Good work.

I like the boat centre of the water and a nice white wave in foreground
But lovely color image.
Excellent composition nice presentation.

Hi Jason,

I want the boat two. My dream is have one to travel between the beautiful beaches of my country. Your phot is really good. I like the sea color of Nice and how you explore the photo adding the colors of the empaty boat. I agree the owner will appear fastly if someone enter the boat :)
