Située au fond de la baie des Anges, parfaitement abritée par un amphithéâtre de collines, Nice est située au bord de la Méditerranée, dans une étroite cuvette montagneuse appuyée au massif du Mercantour, limitée à l'ouest par la vallée du Var et à l'est par le Mont Boron.

Salut Serge.
Une image très très beau de l'été, cette vision idéale de la plage avec ces deux blues comme idéal dans la mer, la composition a une bonne perspective sur le littoral de la distance au-delà.
Une journée fantastique avec une lumière qui donne une couleurs variées et éclatantes, la netteté optimale aussi.

jolie carte postale de vacances ax couleurs fortes, avec toutefois, un petit penché de l'horizon vers la gauche, cela se voit assez fort.

Hello Serge,
A fine sweeping perspective along the beach with the town in the background. Even in May, it is evidently warm enough to sunbathe though it looks a bit too pebbly for me. Well composed along classical lines complemented by good colours and sharpness.

La courbe de la plage envoie mon regard vers l'horizon ce qui donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs des immeubles et des gens qui profitent de la plage. La bonne luminosité rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Une merveilleuse carte postale du Sud de la France et merveilleuse plage bien animée. Une scène qui fait rêver, même si je passe mes étés au bord de la mer les bleus ne sont pas aussi beaux. Bel éclairage et excellente qualité d'image. Les couleurs sont sont parfaitement rendues.

Bonjour Serge,
very attractive beach photo. I always thought that the beaches in the suthern France have rather a golden sand so I am surprised to see they are with tiny rocks.
Well we have nice sandy beaches around Dublin but the lack of sun does not allow to enjoy them so I guess rocky beach would be better. There are plenty of bodies enjoying the sun here. I like the composition with the fragment of the interesting promenade in the back. The color of the water seems "l'azur" indeed.

i've always heard how beautiful the south of France is, but in this photo, the beach does not look very soft! looks like rocks ! :)
but the water, the colors look like its the caribean.
the curve gives you that extra needed depth and attraction. i like this shot.

Oooh la la. What amazing water. The only time I was in Nice it was overcast. You were very fortunate. I love the colours and the way you have framed the shot with the natural curve of the coastline. Just lovely.
