Photographer’s Note

Le nombre de fontaines dans ce parc urbain de la ville de Nice m'a surpris, c'est toujours rafraîchissant un espace vert au bord de la partie plus ancienne d'une ville. Ces jets d'eau en pleine lumière offraient le classique dilemne du photographe: Portrait ou paysage?
J'ai mis en workshop le point de vue alternatif qui montre plus de jets, mais j'ai une légère préférence pour aligner la verticalité du sujet dans la composition.

I was impressed by the number of fountains in this urban park in the City of Nice, it's always inspiring to have a greener area around an older quarter. Those water jets in full light were offering the classical photographic dilemna: portrait or landscape?
I've posted in a workshop the alternate POV showing more jets, but I have a slight preference to align the verticality of the subject in the composition.
What say you?

Bonjour Bruno,
Refreshing image of the fountain, just in time as the weather get warmer each day. Techincally all is fine. in this one, I think the sky is a bit to much magenta, make the sky kind of purple blue and a bit intense, not bad, I like the workshop version better personally. color is a bit more to my taste and the composition is better and I like the over impression of the area than focusing in the fountain, it downplay everything else. I just now notice the beautiful church tower in the background in between.

Hi Bruno,
I'm still finding it hard to get used to your shots from ground level :))
I like this capture, good detail, the rainbow is a definite plus, strong POV and good composition.
