I know this doesn’t make any sense, and I had no intention of ever posting this picture…but thanks to a “typo” and a couple of comments shared over the last two days, I just can’t help myself. hehe
Noel (Noel_Byrne), this one goes out to you! :)
What’s Cod Got To Do With It?
Simply The Freshest
We Don’t Need Another Halibut
And the hit's go on….
Thanks for indulging, or should I say ‘tolerating,’ my stupid sense of humor…this was strictly for fun today! Special thanks to the Marseille fisherman at the Vieux Port market for supplying the “material.”
Have a great day everybody! Live and laugh.

Hi, my friend,
It is very powerful blow for estetic sences of Trekkers ))) But we know this is part of our daily life,
once I saw a fish head in Prague, but that head was bigger this one.
Amazing post, Jason. But I think Trekkers can say something fresh and original about.
Best wishes and have a nice Wednesday!

Il semble attendre avec impatience le moment de passer à la poêle.Il a encore un certain brillant dans le regard qui indique la fraîcheur et le prix semble adéquat. Allez, j'achète.

Not to night honey, I have a haddock! Well, to be honest, you're a bit like a dead fish anyway.
Great (red) snap (per)! Perfect fish eye effect ... without thee lens. Sorry, I couldn't refish these comments.
Now that all the fishiness is out of the way, Great catch, Jason - fine focus and the light management as cool as ice. Well done .... & downed?
Greetings & filletings, Derek

"Golden Eye" sprang to mind but not quite the right colour, so how's about "Nutbush Fishy Limits"! Made me also think of one of my favourite US groups REO Speedwagon and the wonderful album "You Can Tune A Piano But You Can't Tuna Fish". Great album and a great shot that appeals to my crazy sense of humour. Nice piece of light relief and I expect will encourage all us grown up children here on TE to chip in. Fish & Chips - there you see it just gets worse.......
Regards - Brian.

Aw man. I needed a laught here in work today, and sitting here at lunch time, I almost just spit Pesi all over the place at the sight of this, brilliant. You must have some eclectic collection of pics that you are able to pull this out when somebody says Tuna Turner by accident.
thanks for this one, I am sitting here giggling like a school girl.
All the best
P.S. Lets Swim Together and the other great hit : I dont wanna loose you, Nemo.
ikeharel (62041) 2013-10-30 7:33
Well Jason, you must know about Ike and Tine Turner.
That's with the Tuna fish can even go better...
Nice funny idea, good to have heaklthy humor along with fine piece of photography. Always.

Man, what a scene! This is a brilliant still life, and one I doubt I would have ever considered and never been able to produce. I've shot fish in the market before and there is always a real problem with their shiny parts. Here, you've controlled it well, allowing the bright line to define the contour of the fish. And the nasty drips on the message board are priceless! I can see the fisherman wiping off yesterday's message with his bloody fish-cleaning towel!
And puns can be a very sophisticated art form! Every year in Austin, as part of a celebration of one-time Austinite O Henry (who left town accused of embezzlement from the bank where he was working), there is a "Pun-Off" competition! More info... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O._Henry_Pun-Off
So I enjoyed your list -- hook, line and stinkers! ;-)

oh this one made me laugh!
Its funny because yesterday or the day before i saw that title mistake, and thought...was that on purpose or did they really get the spelling wrong :)
awesome post, and lets just say its all in good taste and humor.
Dont forget about her other greatest hits
Missing You Nemo - (Missing You)
Its Only Octopus - (Its only Love)
and her best of all time 'Lets Fish Together' (Lets Stay Together)
The video for 'Lets Fish Together' is a classic!
Oh man...that was fun

This is hysterical...although I'm sure poor Tuna Turner doesn't think so!!! Ha ha!! Besides this being a lovely fish portrait with a disgusting board next to it, you managed to have me laughing. People really should lighten up; they take things way too seriously. :-) On a side note, I love that McDonald's commercial where the fish mounted on the wall says: "Give me back that filet o' fish...give me that fish." Your photo reminds me of that ,too!

Say fast: Fischers Fritz fischt frische Fische, frische Fische fischt Fischers Fritz, well known tongue twister from the German lessons.
Funny shot and and even more funny the note and title. Clever. I like it.

Funny or not funny, the fish details are excellent and I'm sure that the fish itself is also very good. I'd not reject for dinner. the photo is not bad, I like it.

it´s amazing how you were able to turn a simple fish into something exceptional, what evokes a smile on our faces and what definitely cheer us up.

I am a big fish eater, but I know the sea becomes over fished.
Maybe is later for us grandchildren no fish.
A little bit sad but the reality.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice day,
